The legendary Javier Zanetti made his Inter Milan debut back in 1995 having previously playing for Talleres de Remedios and Banfield in Argentina.

Zanetti was made Inter captain in the 1999/2000 season and is generally acknowledged as the best right-back in Serie A.

However, his pace and all-round ability allow him to play in a variety of roles when needed, and he has often played in midfield for Argentina and Inter.

His only major team honour is the 1998 UEFA Cup, but he has over 100 caps for Argentina and was named in Pele's 125 'Greatest Living Players'.

This will be Zanetti's third World Cup and he will be looking to add 'World Cup Winner' to his impressive CV.
