Yet another Argentina prodigy to be saddled with that 'new Maradona' tag Tevez, known in his homeland as 'Carlitos', is a supreme talent who can unlock the tightest of defences.

Brazilian giants Corinthians paid more than £10million to sign him last season from Boca Juniors, and so far it's been money well spent.

He helped his side become Brazilian champions, and his change of pace, creative skills and goalscoring ability have quickly endeared him to the samba nation.

Could prove a very dangerous foil for Hernan Crespo in Germany in the summer, and will be a handful for the opposition.

Tevez made his full international debut in Argentina's 1-0 home win over Ecuador in a World Cup qualifier in March 2004 and since then Brazilian football's most expensive signing ever has become an important weapon.
