The Dutch failed to qualify for the last World Cup finals and will be looking to make up for that massive disappointment.

New coach Marco Van Basten has blooded a few young players in their unbeaten qualifying campaign, and the squad has a youthful look about it.

Players such as defenders Barry Opdam, Khalid Boulahrouz and Hedwiges Maduro are inexperienced at international level.

Also in that category is Feyenoord striker Dirk Kuyt, although he will most likely be second choice to Ruud van Nistelrooy for Holland's lone forward role.

They do however, have enough senior players to make up for this and in goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar, defender Jaap Stam, midfielders Philip Cocu and Mark van Bommel together with van Nistelrooy up front they have an impressive spine to the team.

Couple this with the attacking verve of Arjen Robben and Hamburg's Rafael van der Vaart, and Holland could be just as dangerous as ever.

They also appear to have a good team spirit this time around, which is something that has been lacking in the past.
