The younger brother of Kolo Toure, some - including the Arsenal man himself - say that Yaya is the more talented of the Toure siblings.

The family connection has inevitably seen Yaya heavily linked with Arsenal in the last few months, but they are just one of many top European clubs who are reported to be monitoring his progress.

Toure jnr is yet another product of the ASEC Abidjan academy, and like many of his fellow graduates he continued his footballing education at Beveren.

He joined the Belgian aged 18 in 2001, but financial restraints meant that they were forced to accept a bid of £825,000 from Metalurg Donetsk in 2004.

Toure spent just 18 months in Ukraine before Olimpiakos took him to Greece in the summer of 2005 and since signing for them his reputation has grown enormously.

His performances in the Champions League and his authoritative midfield displays at the African Nations Cup have seen him emerge as one of the most highly-rated young midfielders in Europe and a good World Cup could see him seal a big move, possibly joining his brother in north London.

Toure's physique, technique and ability to dominate the midfield has seen him compared to Patrick Vieira and with Arsenal crying out for a replacement for the great man, he could be just what they are looking for.
