Kosowski - can play on either flank.
5 Kamil Kosowski

Position: Midfielder
Born: 30.08.77
Club: Kaiserslautern

An international debutant in Iceland in 2001, Kamil Kosowski became a regular in the wake of Poland's early exit from the World Cup finals the following year.

At that stage he was still only really known in his homeland but Wisla Krakow's efforts in reaching the fourth round of the UEFA Cup in 2002/03 saw him thrust into the headlines across the continent and attracted the attentions of the likes of Lazio.

He eventually moved to Germany with Kaiserslautern but lost his way at the Fritz-Walter Stadion and has spent the last season on loan at English Championship side Southampton as he looks to revitalise his career.

Able to play wide on both the left and right, Kosowski has a decent turn of pace and is a good crosser of the ball while his goal tally at international level (he averages worse than a goal every four games) is misleading.

Likely to find himself under new employers next season, Kosowski can have no better stage to exhibit his talents than the World Cup finals.
