Hugely experienced with over 60 caps to his name at international level, Tomasz Klos has long been a rock at the back for Poland.

Yet his first experience of international football is one he is still keen to forget; a 4-0 humbling by Paraguay not how he wanted to kick things off on the top rung of the game.

Despite that Klos has gone on to become one of the most reliable members of the Polish side in a career which has seen him play in both Le Championnat and the Bundesliga before returning to his homeland.

After three years at Lodz at the start of his career Klos took the chance to move to Auxerre and after a further three years there he opted to take his chance in Germany, first with Kaiserslautern then Cologne.

But the lure of his homeland proved too much two years ago as he signed for Wisla Krakow, his current employers.

As good overlapping down the right as he is in defensive areas, the full-back is one of the Poles' mainstays and can be relied on to be a cool head.
