Regarded around the time of the last World Cup as one of the most talented young footballers in the Polish national squad, Arkadiusz Glowacki remains on the periphery of Pawel Janas' thinking some four years later.

Taken to Japorea despite having not made a single appearance in qualifying (he was instead representing the Polish Under-21 side en route to their World Cup), Glowacki came on as a substitue against the US in the tournament itself to win his third cap.

Yet four years later he enters this tournament still short of 25 caps despite having been a regular in squads under Janas.

His pace on the counter-attack and his solid man-marking ability make him a good player to have around, as does his experience - albeit limited - of a previous World Cup.
