![]() 14 Lee Chun-Soo
Position: Forward Voted the Most Valuable Player in Korea's K-League as recently as December, Lee Chun-Soo is starring back in his homeland after an aborted spell in Spain. Having been singled out by Guus Hiddink as his 'one to watch' at the last World Cup, a 21-year-old Lee became the first Korean to play in the Spanish Primera Liga with Real Sociedad but was then farmed out to Numancia before returning home. Already in receipt of over 50 international caps at the age of just 24, Lee is a powerful performer despite his relatively slender frame and is blessed with great confidence. That can border on arrogance, though, and the KFA will hope there is no repeat of events after the last World Cup when Lee released a book about the South Korean World Cup campaign which was critical of both team-mates and coach Guus Hiddink.
