Cherif-Toure Mamam plays his club football for FC Metz in France, a country who he will come up against during the group stage of the World Cup.

The 25-year-old is a fierce competitor in the heart of Togo's midfield and his towering frame makes him a dangerous targetman for set-pieces while he is also capable on the ball with a keen eye for goal.

In fact Mamam scored three times during his country's successful qualifying campaign including a stoppage-time winner in the crucial 2-1 away victory against Mali.

He was also on target in Togo's 3-2 defeat at the hands of Angola in the recent African Cup of Nations but there is no doubt Mamam will be hoping his goals help his side to a more prosperous tournament in Germany.
