Despite a poor showing in the African Cup of Nations Kossi Agassa is still one of the first names of Togo's teamsheet.

Agassa has the ability to pull off world-class saves and proved to be a valuable member of a Togo side who conceded just nine goals in the qualifying campaign.

At 6ft 3in, this athletic goalkeeper plies his trade in France's Ligue 1 for Metz but despite a promising start to his career there in 2002/2003, he has struggled to hold onto the No 1 spot.

He will hope that a string of fine displays in Germany, especially when the Hawks meet France, will alert the attentions of clubs willing to give him a chance.
