Massamasso Tchangai is one of Togo's better defenders on current form following his relatively good performance at the African Nations Cup.

But the 27-year-old only played in one World Cup qualifying game and is hardly a rock on which to build defensive foundations.

The Hawks are effectively back to the drawing board after their horrific showing in Egypt and Tchangai will have to curb is erratic tendencies if they are to avoid shipping a lot of goals.

The Benevento man is quick and quite a good tackler but playing in Italy's Serie C2 can hardly fill the Togolese people with confidence.
