Ukraine qualified impressively for their first World Cup finals tournament. They topped a difficult group and coach Oleg Blokhin has promised a semi-final appearance in Germany.

That might be a little over-ambitious but they will be pleased with a draw that grouped them with Spain, Tunisia and Saudi Arabia.

In AC Milan's Andriy Schevchenko they have a player who is light years ahead of anyone else in their squad.

He will be the key in Germany and they will go only as far as he can take them, but they do have some other decent players.
